Lynette Karenyi, is a Zimbabwean politician and Human rights activist, currently serving as MDC Alliance Vice President.

Karenyi was always interested in being the voice of the oppressed from her childhood. In 1999 she joined the MDC and has never looked back.  She was elected the District Secretary for the Assembly of Women for Mutate North in 2000.

In 2008 Karenyi was elected as the MP for Chimanimani West and was the only female opposition MP to hold a rural parliamentary Constituency during that time.

She was elevated to the Presidium at the 5th National Congress when she was elected the Vice President of the party in Gweru.
