Obey Sithole a young Zimbabwean man, passionate about peace, human rights and sustainable development. He was born on 31 May 1992 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Local Governance Studies from Midlands State University (Zimbabwe) in 2014 and went on to obtain a Master degree in Master in Global Development and Planning from the University of Agder (Norway) in 2018.

Tutor in the Department of Global Development and Planning at the University of Agder.
He has also worked for ZOA International as a Project Officer in Uganda
Worked as a Research Assistant for Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce (Sri Lanka)
He is currently involved in various research projects in international migration.

He has done further studies in the areas of Youth Leadership Training Certificate, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (Zimbabwe),
Project Planning and Management (Makerere University) and Peace Research (University of Oslo).

He worked as an Administration Assistant for Redcliff Municipality on 2013 and a Communications and Advocacy officer for the National Vendors Union of Zimbabwe (NAVUZ) in2015. He went onto the position of project coordinator for the Zimbabwe Informal Sector Organisation and various other voluntary and research positions in between his studies.

Obey is currently serving as the National Youth Chairperson for Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Zimbabwe.
